Dr. Wilson was born and raised in Los Angeles California. He attended college at the University of California, San Diego majoring in biology and graduating with highest honors. He attended the University of Southern California School of Medicine where he graduated after becoming President of the local chapter of AOA, the national honor medical society. He performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at LAC Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for 3 years. At that time he sat for and passed his Boards in Internal Medicine. Dr. Wilson then performed his fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During this three year period he published and presented articles at national meetings about diseases of the aortic valve. While still a fellow he sat for and passed his Boards in Cardiovascular Medicine. Following this "Texas Hiatus" he returned to California to establish his private practice of Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
Current Information
Presently, Dr. Wilson maintains his offices in Beverly Hills. He is an attending staff member at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has served as a consultant for large pharmaceutical companies as well as healthcare research organizations investigating such areas as congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease. In addition to his patient care responsibilities, he is a member of the Cedars Sinai Bioethics Committee which deals with medial ethical issues as it pertains to hospitalized patients. He was founder and president of The Young Physicians Organization, The Young Physicians Charitable Foundation and Beverly Hills Care (an independent physicians organization).
Though he has maintained interests in many areas of medicine his primary interests and expertise have always been in everyday patient care!
